    Monday, June 5 - Baseball Hat and Shirt Day
    Tuesday, June 6 - Cartoon or Disney or Super Hero T-shirt Day (not a full costume)
    Wednesday, June 6 - All Red Day (no face paint or hats)
    Thursday, June 7 - Career Day; Dress Like the Career You Want to be in Someday
    Friday, June 9 - Beach Day (must be school appropriate, no swimsuits; toys; inflatables)


    Ks for Kids Fun Run will be Saturday, June 17th. The early bird registration deadline is April 30th.  Please contact the administration office for more details.

    The Great Start Readiness Program 
    There are still openings in the Great Start Readiness Program at Garfield &
    Woodrow Wilson Schools.
    Pick up an application at your local elementary school or call 810-984-3101 Ext. 4066 to request one.

    Just a reminder that parents of GSRP students are to drop off and pick up their student in the Cafeteria this year.

    If you need to go to your child's classroom we ask that you would sign in at the office, get a yellow visitor sticker, and we will call down to the classroom to let them know you are here.  We want to keep the highest safety procedures possible and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain everyone's safety!

    Milk Policy Clarification:

    1. For the 2016-2017 school year, milk will be free for all students who order a hot lunch at school.
    2. There will be a $ .40 charge for milk to all students who bring a cold lunch.
    3. There has been no increase in the price of milk for this school year. It remains $ .40.
    4. For your convenience, you may deposit money in your student's account through the school's front office for the provision of $ .40 milk with their cold lunch. This balance can be checked throughout the year via Skyward access, which will be provided later this month.
    5. To maintain milk service to students who bring a cold lunch, their account must contain current funds and cannot be deficit. You will not be invoiced, the account must be updated and maintained.
    6. Additionally, water fountain access is provided for all children.
